Life gets spicy 🌶 when we do not take care of ourselves. Maybe we're off on our daily routine, we haven't had coffee, we're injured and can't workout - whatever it is-is blocking us from being who we are. Sometimes we lash out on our partner, our friends, or the random telemarketers who insist on calling us right at 7 am. Tension starts to build and in turn tension starts to ignite inside our bodies. We feel ill by the way we see ourselves interacting and how that makes us feel directly after. We must remember that we need to make time for self-care which can come in a variety of forms - brushing our teeth every night, reading a book chapter before starting the day, or calling our mom to say "I love you". Whatever makes us happy, we need to do more of that consistently. We are better than letting any tension come between who we really are and who we do not want to be.
