And just like that, in an instant, we begin to lose grip of reality. A spike of adrenaline paralyzes us for moments that seem like days. We “can’t believe it”. Maybe we got good news we’ve been waiting for all year? Realization we lost our keys after getting back from a long hike? A loved one sharing news that makes us wish we could pause the world just for them? The way we feel our world and the events around us can take our breath away at any second. Cherishing the highs and the lows equally gives us the perspective to live every moment as best as we possibly can.
