“Social distancing” (Original)
Acrylic spray paint + paint marker on circular canvas
April 2020
Story:
We never could have prepared for this moment. A moment where we have to decide whether we care more about our safety than our mental health. A moment where we have to decide whether we should pay our rent or have a food budget for the week. A moment where we realize what truly matters the most to us when we do not know what the next day has in store for us. We struggle to see the end of the tunnel. We have no idea if we'll make it through or will this change the direction of our lives, our businesses, our relationships, or our freedom forever. We practice social distancing in hopes of flattening the curve and saving lives. Each moment we decide to step outside our 6 feet of social distance is a moment we risk much more than we can comprehend.
