"Defying the odds" (Original)

Story:

Making our way to the “top” takes a bit of hard work, consistency, strategy, and a splash of luck. If we work hard enough in the right places, we increase our “luck”. The key is in the “right places”. We don’t always know what we are doing or where we’ll start but if we know our “why” and what gets us excited we can figure out the rest. One of the things we may forget in this process is keeping our passion alive. We can reach the top and realize we’re empty inside. No one wants that feeling but it’s real. In order to defy the odds we have to embrace what makes us unique and ferociously stay committed to that along the way. When we do this, we may find success chases after us when we are engulfed in our life’s work.
