When we are young, we experience the world as an innocent, moldable mind. We have no choice in the events that transpire. We're at the mercy of the adults that surround us. When we grow into adulthood, we experience life on our own accord. What we eat, where we live, where we work, and how we build relationships - many of these choices are influenced by our upbringing. We have triggers, preferences, and experiences that made us form the opinions we have today. Everyone has their own journey. As we grow older, we are alike more than we seem to realize. What's important is listening to each other especially when we are forming our adult relationships. Many of us are still uncovering the layers of life that make us who we are today.
