Taking risks doesn't mean you are completely vulnerable. Many think that those who gamble are foolish and looking for a quick win. Yes - sometimes that's true but when we think of taking risks outside of our comfort zone we are practicing what it feels like to be vulnerable. Vulnerable to losing what we risked but also vulnerable to the fruitful opportunities that could become reality. We see this happen everyday. Lottery tickets, quitting 9-5 for a new venture, taking the carpool lane alone, drinking the milk that expired yesterday, investing in crypto, hiring your first employee - the list goes on. When we diversify, we minimize our risk and expand our opportunities. Going all in in many aspects of life is what makes success a reality through focus. But how do you know what to focus on in the first place if you haven't tried an array of things to get there? 🤔
